Abdominal Adhesions - Herbal Softening Program
100 ml Blend. Dose 20 drops 3 times daily in water: $58
(At the recommended dose, this Blend will provide 6 weeks of continuous treatment)
An adhesion is a band of scar tissue that binds 2 parts of tissue together, which should be separate. Adhesions may appear as thin sheets of tissue
similar to plastic wrap, or as thick fibrous bands.
Adhesive tissue develops in the abdomen, almost as a protective mechanism, in
any case where the energy or integrity of the abdominal cavity is disrupted
or shocked. This could be through surgery, infection, trauma, or radiation.
Abdominal adhesions are a common complication of surgery, occurring in up to
90% of people who undergo abdominal or pelvic surgery. Adhesions also occur
in 10% of people who have never had surgery.
Holistically, abdominal adhesions are seen as an overly protective response
to the intrusion (surgical or energetic) into this area, which we
instinctively protect being soft and exposed.
Many routine surgical procedures of the past created more problems than they
solved (appendectomy and ovarian cyst operations particularly) and these have
been largely discontinued unless unavoidable. Any person exhibiting keloid
scarring should avoid abdominal surgery at almost any cost.
The mixture I provide to assist in softening adhesions that are involved in
abdominal pain, fertility or bowel problems consists of a concentrated extract of the herbs; Chamomile, Comfrey, Equisetum and Liquorice along with
the Bach Flower Remedies Walnut, Mimulus and Red Chestnut.
This mix is taken three times daily at a dose rate of 20 drops and is
continued for 6 to 12 months at least. In a severe case I would recommend
also a program of energetic healing (like Reiki) especially in the regions of the second and third chakras.
